CAN 2019: SENEGAL GOES THROUGH ALL EMOTIONS BUT QUALIFIES FOR THE FINAL

Senegal's Liverpool star Sadio Mané qualified for the CAN 2019 final on Sunday after defeating Tunisia in the semi-finals of the competition.

The first qualifying team for the CAN 2019 final is known. It is Senegal who beat (1-0) Tunisia in the prolongations of the first semifinal.

In this poster, the suspense remained intact. After dominating the first period, Senegal showed a poor face in the second. The latter was rich in emotions and tension. A penalty missed by others and the two selections could not be decided.

This is the extension that sealed the fate of the Carthage Eagles at the CAN 2019. A stroke of fate that eliminates Tunisia. On a free kick hit by Henri Saivet, Mouez Hassen, the Tunisian goalkeeper, misjudges the trajectory, pulls the ball that touches his defender Dylan Bronn and scores against his side in the 100th minute. In the second half of the extra period, Tunisia could have benefited from a penalty but Ethiopian referee Tessema Weyesa decided otherwise. This narrow score sends Senegal in the final and unfairly eliminates Tunisia.

17 years later, Senegal's Lions qualify for the CAN final. Lost in 2002, the final of this year could be good for Sadio Mané's teammates.
