KANSAS CITY, Mo. - The Kansas City Royals have short-listed Adalberto Mondesi on the 10-day injury list due to a dislocated left shoulder on Wednesday.

Mondesi was injured Tuesday against the White Sox, diving to try to catch a false ball.

Royals manager Ned Yost said Mondesi will be re-evaluated in a week.

The 23-year-old leads Major League Baseball with 31 stolen goals. Mondesi hits for 266 in 82 games, with 7 long balls and 52 RBIs.

Kansas City also traded outfielder Terrence Gore to the New York Yankees, in return for a sum of money.

Gore will report to Scranton / Wilkes-Barre, the Yankees affiliate in the AAA.

We could see it with New York in September, when it will be allowed to add players to the big leagues.

In 37 games with the Royals this season, Gore has stolen 13 goals and hit for, 275.
