FRANCE PRESERVES WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP AT WORLD RUGBY U20

France's U-20 rugby team kept its world championship title by beating Australia (24-23) in the final of the 2019 World Cup on Saturday in Rosario (Argentina).

Sacred at Béziers last year, the Bleuets have confirmed this year in Argentina and become the third team to maintain a world crown in the history of rugby, after New Zealand (from 2008 to 2011) and England (2013 and 2014).

The third place of this U20 World Cup went to South Africa, victorious in the classification match of Argentina 41 to 16.
