THE AUSTRALIAN FEDERATION OF RUGBY COMPLAINS IN ISRAEL FOLAU DE PERTURBER THIS SPORT

The Australian Rugby Federation has criticized his former player Israel Folau for disrupting the sport by "his media campaign", after the homophobic remarks he made, and following a letter he wrote in which he accuses the AR to have leaked his hearing to the Disciplinary Committee.

The former player of the XV of Australia, he sent this letter last week, after the Sydney Daily Telegraph unveiled articles about him and the controversy he aroused by his homophobic comments on social networks. These articles reveal details of the player's hearing before the Disciplinary Committee, which were supposed to be private. According to him, this process "is manifestly unfair".

For its part, the Federation said in a statement that the "media campaign" of Folau affected rugby at all levels, stating that it was even a shadow of the championship Super Rugby.

Folau had caused a huge controversy in mid-April by posting on his Instagram account: "Drunkards, homosexuals, adulterers, liars, fornicators, thieves, atheists, idolaters, Hell is waiting for you. Repent! Only Jesus can save you.
